Backup / Restore
• When you back up your documents and folders from the ClearScanner App, a single backup file will be generated. It will contain all your data created within the app, up until the moment of creating the backup file.
• We recommend you to back up your files periodically, in case for example you lose your device or change to a new one. With the backup file you will be able to restore your data.
• A backup is not a synchronised operation, so it can only be created manually. The app does not make any backup of your files unless you do it yourself.
• Save the backup file to the Cloud (for example Google Drive) or another trusted location so that you can locate the file to restore it later if necessary. Please take into account that if you save the backup file in the local phone storage, you will not be able to recover your files in case your device is broken or lost. The backup file will be gone together with the lost or broken device and you will not the able to access it.
• In order to optimise space the files in your backup will no longer be editable, since the source file is eliminated.
